LEMI-018是用于地磁场观测的高精度专业矢量磁力仪，它由两部分组成：主机和三分量磁通门磁力仪。该仪器的最大优点是其极高的稳定性（低漂移）、高分辨率和高精度，这使它特别适合于固定台站的长期连续观测；其次，小巧轻便，功耗低，这又使它适合于流动台站和复杂地区观测；第三，GPS同步，可进行大范围同步阵列观测；第四，开机即记的傻瓜方式使得操作极为简便。
